If you have never had brow embroidery before, the unknown is the scary part. So let me walk you through exactly how it goes, from the first message to walking out with new brows. There are no surprises here, by design.
It starts on WhatsApp
Every booking begins with a short chat. You send a photo of your current brows and any references of the look you like, we talk through what suits you, and we agree the right technique for your skin and features. This is also where I answer the questions you might feel shy asking in person.
Once we have found a slot, a small deposit secures it. That is it, no online forms, no call centre.
"Will it hurt?" Even clients with tattoos ask
It is the question I hear most, and I have heard it from people with full-sleeve tattoos. I always ask them the same thing in return: you sat through a full sleeve, why do you think this will hurt? The answer is always the same. "Because it is on the face."
Honestly, there is not much of a comparison. Brow embroidery should hurt much less than tattooing your arm or your back. Numbing cream goes on before the session and again during it, so what most clients feel is a light scratching. Many chat with me the whole way through.
On the day: we talk first
When you arrive at the studio, we do not start the embroidery. We talk. I want to understand the brows you have, the brows you want, and how much definition feels like you. We look at your face shape, your features and your skin together.
This part is unhurried on purpose. A good brow is designed, not improvised.
If you are nervous, say so
A while back, a client arrived who had almost been too afraid to book at all. She had seen the horror stories, and her fear was specific: brows that heal far too dark. So we worked with exactly that. When I know dark brows are your worry, I control the intensity of the colour I deposit, and we looked through photos of my past healed work together until she could point at what felt right. That was the moment she relaxed.
She is not unusual. Most clients now ask for slightly lighter brows for the same reason, knowing the colour can always be deepened at a touch-up later. Far better than waking up every morning to brows that feel too dark.
The design: nothing begins until you love it
Next, I map and draw your proposed shape directly onto your skin, measuring to your bone structure and balancing both sides. You see it in the mirror. We adjust, and adjust again, until it is right.
I have redrawn a shape four or five times for a single client. And when she still was not sure, my advice was simple: do not go ahead. This is a semi-permanent procedure that will be on your face for years, and it should never be hurried. No pigment goes in until you are genuinely happy with the drawn shape. If you want it softer, fuller, higher, straighter, we change it now, while it still washes off.
Sisters, not twins
One honest thing you should know before any appointment, here or anywhere: our faces are naturally asymmetrical, and your brows sit on that face. I measure carefully and balance both sides as far as your features allow. But if you are chasing 100 percent symmetry, brow embroidery may not be for you, and I would rather tell you that plainly than take your booking. Good brows are sisters, not twins.
The embroidery itself
Only once you approve do we begin. Depending on the technique, the application takes one and a half to two hours, and I check in with you constantly. Most clients are surprised how relaxed it is.
Before you leave
You go home with an aftercare kit and a clear written plan. I will tell you exactly what to expect as it heals, including the stages that look alarming but are completely normal, and explain when a touch-up would help. Touch-up rates are always current on the pricing page. There is no pressure either way.
One artist, start to finish
Everything above, the consultation, the design, the embroidery, is done by me. If you choose to come back for a touch-up later, that is me too. Your brows are never handed to a junior or rushed to fit another appointment. That is the whole point of working 1-to-1.
